The Art of Preserving Your Pieces
At Nyssary, each piece is designed to accompany you in your daily life with elegance. Our stainless steels and finishes offer remarkable resistance, but a minimum of care allows them to retain their original shine intact over the years.
Here is our expert advice for maintaining your jewelry:
The daily and water test: Your pieces perfectly withstand tap water and showers and do not rust. However, to preserve the shine of the gold finishes over time, it is preferable to avoid prolonged sea bathing, chlorinated pool water, or sulfurous hot springs.
The trap of cosmetics and pH: Perfume, hairspray, creams, and body oils contain chemical agents that leave a dull film on the metal. In addition, the natural acidity of some skin can accelerate the patina of the plating. The pro reflex: always spray your perfume and let it dry before putting on your jewelry.
Precision cleaning: If your pieces have lost their shine due to sebum or cream residue, immerse them for a few minutes in a bowl of warm water with Marseille soap. Rub gently with an ultra-soft bristle brush (like a soft toothbrush), then dry them immediately and thoroughly with a clean microfiber cloth. Stagnant moisture is the enemy of polish.
Rest and storage: When you are not wearing them, avoid leaving your jewelry piled up loosely at the bottom of a drawer or storing them in the bathroom (where the ambient humidity is too high). Store them individually in their Nyssary pouch or case away from direct light.
A well-maintained piece stands the test of time by your side, shining as it did on the first day.
